What if animals became the masters of the earth, what if nature took back the planet? What if all this was already written and foretold in an ancient mosaic?… It would be a great party!!! In the space at the centre of the Carmine cloister, luminous tiles appear. They look like fragments of an ancient mosaic, a memory of the Roman city of Bergomum, resurfacing from the ground. They are simple geometric shapes that, alternately turning on and off, transform from the ancient signs of a mysterious code to the contemporary ones of a progressive and articulated visual grammar. Through the composition and decomposition of the pieces, images are created that change from the abstract to the figurative language that take us from the ancient Roman city to the metropolis of the future, where animals reappropriate the world.
